    The individual selected will be required to draw Disney character sketches, created from approved source documents, on-stage in front of Guests. They will be responsible for maintaining a clear understanding of Merchandise offerings of the Sketch Artist Program and produce approved artwork consistently while maintaining the character’s integrity.

    What You Will Do

    • Draw character sketches using traditional medium from approved source documents.

    • Provide on-stage Guest Service through the Disney Service Basics, with an emphasis on the Five Keys.

    • Maintain a wide and varied assortment of matted and framed sketches available for purchase, including the locations top 10 sketches, event/holiday artwork and best-selling categories.

    • Engage Guests by educating them on the Sketch Program.

    Required Qualifications & Skills

    • Ability to produce character sketches using traditional medium from approved source documents.

    • Demonstrate strong communication skills, with the ability to proactively engage Guests in conversation.

    • Strong ability to multi-task, completing technical art responsibilities while also engaging Guests in dialogue.

    • Work as a team with location Cast, leaders and key partners through proactive communication and collaboration.

    • Must submit an artist portfolio. Submit multi-page PDF electronically

    Education

    Bachelor’s degree in one of the following areas: Fine Arts / Arts in Animation / Illustration / Art and Design or 4 years equivalent experience as a character artist.
