About the Role & Team

The Sr Financial Analyst will provide financial and strategic support as well as critical thought partnership to the Operating Participant business while working closely with various client executive teams. Key elements of this role include:

  • Lead financial and business planning processes, including Long Term Plan, Annual Operating Plan, Capital Planning, monthly forecasts, and headcount planning.

  • Provide strategic and financial support on key financial strategies and company initiatives.

  • Report, analyze, and improve business results and partner to address financial and strategic opportunities.

  • Ensure business integrity through responsible corporate governance.

  • Develop strong and effective partnerships, including Research, Revenue Management, Attendance Forecasting, Operations Planning and all other Walt Disney World and Disneyland Finance executives.

  • Provide leadership, vision and direction on financial analyses, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

Specific responsibilities include financial modeling and negotiations, financial oversight of the Dine Plan negotiations, research and vetting of potential concepts and operating partners, contract review, and general project management.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 2+ years Finance or Business Planning experience

  • Proven experience with Pro Forma modeling and other valuation methodologies

  • Leadership skills with the ability to define a clear vision and motivate others to achieve required goals

  • Strong computer proficiency within a Windows environment

  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills and abilities, including experience with strategic management and financial analysis tools

  • Shown strong organizational skills, as well as continuous improvement process skills

  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills

  • Proven strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated strong influencing skills

  • Confirmed ability to conceptualize innovative solutions for complex business problems

  • Shown ability to understand and apply a broad range of technologies to move projects forward

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or equivalent

Preferred Education:

  • MBA or equivalent
