As part of the Telecom Services team, the Telecom Facilities Coordinator will oversee daily departmental activities, manage the Telecom vehicle fleet, and maintain facilities at the WDW Communications Center (WCC). This role partners with all departments within Telecom Services to provide oversight and guidance on building access, Cast activities, building maintenance, and the stocking and disbursement of general supplies.
Responsibilities
Communicate effectively to identify, evaluate, and prioritize cast needs and requirements
Ensure departments within Telecom comply with daily process for ordering supplies
Research, validate and approve access to Telecom facilities, warehouse, and technical areas
Schedule and manage maintenance activities
Audit and maintain vehicle fleet of 90+ vehicles
Oversee the use and security of all Telecom vehicles
Author and distribute Weekly On-Call Duty Report
Update and distribute Telecom’s Annual Hurricane Preparedness Plan
Liaison all uniform/costuming activities with the vendor Cintas
Coordinate and plan quarterly cast celebration events
Schedule and Co-ordinate Maintenance/Repairs as needed on campus
Basic Qualifications
4+ year(s) customer service experience
Demonstrated problem solving and coordination skills
Ability to adapt quickly, adjust to changes in business needs, work independently, take ownership, and work in a flexible team environment
Able to take initiative and work on multiple initiatives at one time
Proficient with MS Office Suite programs such as MS Excel and PowerPoint
Attentive to details, strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as telephone etiquette
Responsible and independent
Proven organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience with building management and maintenance
Knowledge of Disney vehicle Fleet Management processes
Experience with Disney access control
Required Education
Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience
Preferred Education
Bachelor’s degree
The pay rate for this role in Orlando, FL is $25.10 to $31.40 per hour. The base pay actually offered may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
