As a member of the Transportation Logistics team, you will collect and analyze ridership, scheduling, operations, financial and field data, summarizing that data into a compelling story. From there, you will then communicate that story to key partners to influence strategic decisions and drive the business forward! You will report to the Forecasting and Analytics Manager for Transportation Operations.

What You Will Do

  • Analyze a variety of data using multiple tools and forecasting models, update existing and create new, tools and models
  • Use quantitative analysis to guide storytelling to provide options and suggestions to partners and upper management
  • Take a lead position on weekly generation of Walt Disney World Bus workload
  • Provide leadership and analysis regarding changes to the Walt Disney World transit system through collaboration with Master Planning. This includes new or altered routes, forecasting costs, and discussing new means and modes of transportation.
  • Produce visualizations in multiple tools (e.g. Tableau, Excel, PowerPoint), and then present those visualizations
  • Maintain data warehouse in Snowflake, with use of Python and SQL based coding

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Positive mindset with a focus on how to accomplish the tasks at hand
  • Experience developing executive-level presentations
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Microsoft Excel (including higher level functions) and ability to perform quantitative analysis
  • Consulting and collaborative approach
  • Resourceful and proactive, with an ability to use existing partnerships or create new relationships to navigate complex situations

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years' experience in a demand-based transit environment
  • Experience with Snowflake
  • Hands-on experience with Business Objects and Tableau
  • Experience with Walt Disney World Operations, services and business practices

Education

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of such educational requirements.
