Job Summary:

GENERAL ROLE DESCRIPTION:

The job holder is responsible for assisting the QA Manager in maintaining WDI Quality standards for the whole project cycle. He / she is requires to liaise and monitor site quality and identify potential field problems, areas of risk and resolve the issues independently with guidance from the QA Manager. Maintaining a proper set of QC documentation.  

CORE FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES:

GENERAL

  • Carry out site inspections on material, finishes and testing to ensure compliance with drawing & specifications.
  • Ensure contractors are working with latest and approved shop drawings, material and method statement
  • Monitor and log submissions status

QUALITY CONTROL

  • Assist QA Manager to monitor the installation quality, workmanship and standards ensures compliance with the specifications drawings and the approved contractor’s QA/QC plan
  • Prepare Correction Notices (CN) for any defective works, irregularity against safety and environmental issue

TECHNICAL SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering or Building Studies or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of solid site experience in related construction projects
  • Site experience in Theme Park projects will be an advantage
  • Sound knowledge of building materials and technologies
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management, contractor and field personnel
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Fluent speaking and writing English and Chinese
  • Driving license (group 1 or 2) is preferred
