Job Summary:

The Associate Creative Producer is the Creative team member assisting the Senior Manager, Creative Development , Creative Director and Creative Producer for achieving and maintaining the creative vision and for ensuring the implementation of that vision through the project life cycle, including establishing design teams to meet schedule and budget, managing the execution of Creative deliverables and collaborating with Project Leaders to achieve common objectives.

The Associate Creative Producer must be able to support the creative vision and motivate the team responsible for providing input to support its development through concept, design, production and installation. Understanding of the complete design process, work well with other disciplines in a collaborative environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist Senior Manager, Creative Development and Creative Producer in implementation of creative intent and deliverables with all divisions of work and LOB’s
  • Assembles creative presentation materials – print and digital, using judgment and discretion to determine creative content
  • Provides research materials relative to historical content, artwork, imagery, themed entertainment and architectural reference, etc.
  • Communicates and interacts with all levels of individuals within the project environment
  • Interprets and communicates show concept and design intent, from a variety of sources
  • Working with the project leadership on planning, project delivery strategies, external vendors and resources
  • Maintains open communication with the local project team, global and local organization and peers
  • Liaises with peers from Glendale and the global organizations to ensure best practices
  • Coordinate and participate in small scale media shoots, media requests, special projects
  • Prepare and distribute documentation related to brainstorming and creative development sessions and Creative Deliverable files

Job Requirements:

  • Degree holder. Major in Fine Arts, Theatrical Design, Film or Entertainment disciplines is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience. Relevant experience within The Walt Disney Company (WDI, Entertainment, Operations) is preferred
  • Solid understanding and work experience in facility or construction
  • Positive, proactive and solution-oriented, with an ability to think quickly and strategize under uncertainties
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Knowledge of WDI Creative, Building Specialties, Show, Architecture & Engineering and Ride disciplines would be considering as add advantages
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese (verbal and written communication)
