Associate Manager, Cast Scheduling

Job Summary:

The purpose of this role is to provide leadership support to the Cast Scheduling team. This role provides supervision, guidance and coaching for team members on a daily basis ensuring that Schedulers produce and maintain effective working schedules according to pre-determined labor plans, monitor compliance of labor policies and scheduling guidelines, and assign appropriate frontline workforce to deliver smooth operations and create a great guest & client experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day leadership support, supervise, coach and guide for Scheduling team members
  • Provide process support and advice to Scheduling team members to resolve scheduling issues and sustain effective partnerships between the Scheduling team, HR teams (i.e. Learning & Development, HRIS, HR operations, Frontline recruitment) and Operations teams (i.e. Entertainment, Park Operations, Hotel Operations, Merchandising, Facility Services, F&B, Security)
  • Ensure work schedules are generated according to scheduling guidelines, labor standards, operational and statutory requirements, balancing business and staff needs.
  • Continuously evaluate scheduling methodologies and the end-to-end scheduling process to suggest improvements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree is Human Resources, Business Management, Finance or related disciplines
  • Min .of 5 years of working experience with 2 years in supervisory role, and experience in frontline operations and scheduling is a plus
  • Strong collaboration skills with stakeholders across all seniority
  • Solid understanding in Employment Ordinance, HR Policy and Workforce Planning & Scheduling Systems
  • Strong Excel skills in basic workforce data analysis
