Job Summary:

As the Facilitator of the Youth Education Series (Y.E.S.) Programs, this individual will be the Disney interface for local and international student groups. They will be accountable for conducting educational experiences at Hong Kong Disneyland.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct report to Youth Education Series (Y.E.S.) Guest Service Manager (GSM), to assist and monitor daily operations and labor support level for Y.E.S. program, ensuring all programs are delivered and conducted in the most professional manner;
  • Responsible for overseeing daily performance of all Y.E.S. team members including but not limited to Y.E.S. facilitators, where timely feedbacks shall be delivered through quality conversation or coaching session;
  • Assist Y.E.S GSM to review, analysis, and make necessary approval for all special Y.E.S. program booking requests according to program capacity, labor support, attractions and restaurants availability under different attendance bands;
  • Collaborate with key external and/or internal work partners of various operation teams to ensure pre-arrival materials for Y.E.S. program are well prepared and on-day logistic coordination for seamless program experience;
  • Prepare weekly roster for Y.E.S. facilitators and other team members (if applicable) to ensure adequate manpower support;
  • Consistently review future programs demand and work closely with scheduling team to allocate resources to support Y.E.S. business growth;
  • Prepare new hires onboarding materials and conduct program training;
  • Must be able to work independently with ability to handle difficult and/or ad-hoc situations by utilizing available resources to address and resolve guest concerns;
  • Ensure Y.E.S. team members are complying with the Disney Service Qualities and Service Guidelines;
  • Performs any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Y.E.S. GSM, Sales and Park Operation leaders

Basic Qualifications:

  • Program facilitation experience in hospitality sector or other relevant industry
  • Extensive knowledge of Disney Parks and Resorts Operations
  • Excellent command of written and verbal communication skills (English, Cantonese & Mandarin preferred)
  • Team spirit, Guest oriented, patient, positive thinking, logical problem-solving mindset with strong safety and Guest service awareness
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and focused on delivering quality Guest experiences and service excellence
  • Able to perform in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful working environment
  • At least 5 years' experience in relevant industries with 2 years in supervisory level
  • Willingness to work at different locations in the Resort area, including outdoor locations
  • Willingness to work in shifts
  • Fluent in English, Cantonese and Putonghua
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word Processing, Excel and PowerPoint

Schedule Availability
Our Theme Park and Resort Hotels operate 365 days a year. Candidates will need to work shifts according to a roster that is determined by the Company.
