The Producer with Disney Live Entertainment – International oversees and guides the production process, strategy, schedule, financial management, design implementation, site partner interface, and overall delivery of live entertainment production. The Producer leads the project team(s) in development of creative intent and will manage project goals and milestones, status reports, risk assessment, and overall financial targets and client satisfaction. The Producer is the champion in delivering all project goals while following company standards and policies.
Responsibilities/You Will
• Lead the team through development, feasibility, design and production.
• Understand the big picture, know the partners, leverage partnerships and deliver and integrate new live entertainment experiences into our parks and other Disney locations.
• Be comfortable leading the production manager team through the financial process, having a level of confidence in project financials.
• Work with the show director, always looking for ways to support creative vision, innovation, and immersive storytelling with a focus on eliminating barriers for the entire team.
• Negotiate contracts and make creative/design compromises where necessary.
• Provide clear direction to the team and communicate project concepts and key information to all levels of leadership, always mindful of company-wide efficiency efforts and targets.
• Will provide guidance and Cast Member support to Production Managers, Production Assistants, and extended project team.
• Champion for safety, for environmental stewardship, inclusion, enhancing the Guest/Cast Experience and driving results.
• Partner with site and WDI teams, working with them to develop consumer-focused events, experiences and entertainment offerings of all scales that meet defined business needs.
• Partner with multiple stakeholders across senior leadership of Disney Parks, WDI, Disney Cruise Line, DLE and others to conceive and produce a variety of events and experiences.

Basic Qualifications/You Will Have
• Minimum 8 years' experience in, diversified team leadership in entertainment show production, live event production and technical disciplines.
• Experience with theatrical technologies, i.e. lighting, special effects, Pyrotechnics, audio, projection, set design and construction.
• Ability to negotiate, to organize, to provide direction and to complete multiple tasks on schedule.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of programs and spreadsheet/presentation software, including project management tools, collaboration tools and file sharing programs.
• Ability to learn new software applications.
• Ability to champion process improvement.
• Effective problem-solving skills, enhancing the success of each project.
• Exceptional communication skills, including ability to communicate knowledgeably with multiple partners at multiple levels, including site, domestic, and global executives.
• Strong leadership, delegation and partnering skills.
• Knowledge of budgets and schedules.
• Availability to work weekends, holidays and outside of traditional office hours.
• Willingness to travel on international assignments of varying lengths.
Preferred Qualifications
• Knowledge of Entertainment Production and Operation in a professional theatrical, theme park, or cruise line environment.
• Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese.
Required Education
Bachelor's degree in theater, design, entertainment, or equivalent.
Preferred Education
Master's degree or equivalent in an entertainment-related field.
