Job Summary:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead team of 8-20 in-house artists and contract labors to achieve the prioritized and planned tasks/projects.
  • Provide prompt color and paint technical support to the teams.
  • Plan work schedules, consumable materials, and manpower. Take responsibility on planning and implementing maintenance activities and rehab projects, monitor labor and budget resources to ensure operation goals are met.
  • Prepare painting procedures, maintenance records and show document. Ensure the accuracy of labor hours, materials, and inventory records in Computerized Maintenance Management System (Maximo).
  • Prepare artistic training materials and standardize painting procedures for teams or contractors, provide daily supervision, technical and artistic guidance to the teams.
  • Maintain the team’s painting equipment and spray booths in good operational condition. Ensure the preventative maintenance of facilities and occupational safety & health procedures to be accomplished and complied with job plans.
  • Control inventory for the paint and dangerous good stores, contribute to workshops re-layout or enhancement to facilitate the teams’ continuous changing operation requirements.
  • Have a basic understanding of VOC regulations and environmental awareness, continuously support the teams in sourcing low emission or low impact products and coatings, creating a healthy and safe work environment for the team.
     

Requirement:

  • Higher Diploma in Applied Art, Fine Art or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 4 years’ relevant experience in theme painting and props maintenance works.
  • Good knowledge and skillset in high performance coatings, automotive and mural painting, props making, spray paint technique, color matching as well as artistic painting skills.
  • Good communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Flexible work schedule and overnight shift may be required.
