About the Role & Team
In this role supporting Disneyland Paris, you will be contributing to the overall hotel, ticket and revenue sales as defined in the annual operating plan and work to deliver against annual sales targets. You will also provide account management and promotion of sales and marketing to UK travel trade including retail, repackages and pan European OTAs with promotion of ticket only when appropriate. You will develop the delivery of annual sales and marketing plans and maintain effective management of key account partnerships throughout.
This role will require some UK and overseas travel including occasional travel to London office.
What You Will Do
Achieve set objectives which support the overall strategy of Disneyland Paris in the UK
Effectively manage key accounts at all levels including negotiation of all commercial terms and ongoing tactical initiatives, identifying growth opportunities
Undertake sales visits and representation with all existing and prospective key accounts, delivering a strong productive working relationship
Ensure constant communication of all relevant items to key partners
Monitor and report sales performance by account and channel with insights into the trade partner business, the market, competitor activity etc.
Coordinate marketing through the Travel Industry Marketing team as appropriate to improve sales and promotion opportunities as well as return on investment
Scope and implement strategic sales and marketing plans with key partners
Undertake presentations and training opportunities with partners as required
Input to the planning and forecasting process for annual operating plans and revenue targets
Attend and support key travel industry trade events, workshops, Fam trips and training events to represent Disneyland Paris in the UK
Continuously develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external partners including but not limited to, Disney Destinations International and Disneyland Paris colleagues, trade partners and relevant industry contacts
Required Qualifications & Skills
Demonstrated sales experience in UK travel industry, including travel agency, online and/or tour is crucial
Experience of building effective relationships with both internal and external partners, both domestically and internationally
Experience in working in partnership with key accounts and building trust and commitment
Understanding of the various distribution channels in the travel industry
Large matrix organisation experiences preferable
Proven experience in key account management
Highly analytical and results driven with strong commercial and negotiation skills
Ability to optimally present both virtually and face to face
Ability to challenge the status-quo and bring new ideas
Strong organisational skills
Ability to work with speed and agility, manage own time but to also work and contribute to team
Computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint); adept in use of video conferencing tools such as Zoom
Strong written and spoken English for business use, with French language skills beneficial
Additional Information
Flexibility for some UK, European or international travel may be required
Contribution to ad-hoc projects as the business requires
Flexible hours may be required to meet business needs
