Disney’s Records and Information Management (RIM) organization leads all aspects of global RIM compliance by providing strategies, guidance and support to all employees ensuring the company’s records are managed in accordance with policy.

The RIM Manager EMEA will be responsible for driving and overseeing RIM initiatives to ensure compliance in all areas of business across the EMEA region with the Records & Information Management policy and retention schedules.

This role requires you to be based in our London Hammersmith office 4 days a week.

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate with Enterprise Record Information Management to coordinate, lead and manage RIM initiatives within EMEA while creating efficiencies, improvements, and long-term sustainment procedures within EMEA
  • Partner with Enterprise RIM to develop an EMEA specific annual and long-term implementation plan with scope, timeline, communication strategy and executive approval
  • Project manage the EMEA RIM program to keep the project goals focused and on track
  • Partner with Legal, Enterprise RIM and other RIM teams across the enterprise to develop and implement RIM policy and best practices
  • Collaborate with learning and development partners to effectively ensure employees receive required online courses and/or acknowledgements
  • Collaborate with communications partners to raise RIM awareness across the EMEA region
  • Work with Enterprise RIM, Enterprise Technology and Steering Committee to formulate any recommendations for EMEA technology solutions.
  • Work with RIM Advisors and Enterprise Technology to facilitate and track remediation action plans.
  • Knowledge share with peers regarding best practices, lessons learned, tools, templates, etc.
  • Work with clients, technical resources, and all levels of management to implement policy compliance
  • Develop tools and processes to ensure consistent and effective implementation and sustainment of RIM policies and standards
  • Provide technical guidance and direction to employees in partnership with technology partners
  • Track and manage implementation, compliance and sustainment progress. Provide progress reports to Steering Committee and Enterprise RIM

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, ideally in Library Science/Records Management
  • Experience with managing cross functional projects
  • Experience managing stakeholder relationships in a regional or global organisational environment
  • Project Management experience
  • Experience with global records management
  • Understanding of enterprise technology terminology and tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of regulatory complexities in record management within a multi-market environment
  • Interest in process improvement and design
