What You Will Do

  • Integral member of the Media Finance leadership team providing finance and business support to the UK Channels and regional ad sales leadership teams
  • Work closely with the Finance Director to drive the quarterly Forecasting, AOP and 5YP processes and all related deliverables and presentations for both linear and digital ad sales
  • Assist Finance Director in providing commercial support to SVP Ad Sales and Director UK & ESPN Ad Sales and their respective teams.
  • Work closely with and provide guidance and support to all EMEA Finance teams
  • Co-ordinate with Accounting and Controllership to support the Quarterly Close process.
  • Support a ‘one team’ approach within EMEA finance. Build a network amongst the finance leadership community across lines of business and markets, sharing resources and knowledge.
  • Adopt a flexible approach to provide ad hoc finance support to the finance leadership across all Media lines of business.
     

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • ACCA/CIMA Qualified essential
  • Significant experience in financial planning and analysis
  • Experience of leading teams, managing people and evidence of development of team members
  • Experience of working with and providing financial support to operational and commercial teams
  • Demonstrable track record of management and delivery of projects to a high standard and to demanding deadlines
  • Demonstrable track record of providing commercial support to business partners that is insightful, timely and responsive
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, flexible to all levels of the organisation.
  • Ability to produce clear and insightful presentations that deliver key messaging at the appropriate level of detail incorporating input from multiple stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of influence, persuasion and engaging communication at all levels of the organisation
  • Experience of managing multiple stakeholders, working with different country markets and forming excellent working relationships
  • Numerate and analytical with a desire to think through and resolve strategic problems
  • Ability to work effectively managing team members through the significant organisational and business changes underway.
