Job Summary:

Support Licensing Sales Manager with execution of long term and fiscal year strategies as set by department leads. Have responsibility for elements of relationship management of our sourcing agents as advised.

Support creativity and analyse shipping data, develop commerciality and expertise in relevant category product development. Main focus on plush and growing the Disney Direct business.

4 days a week required in our Hammersmith office

Areas of Responsibility

  • In conjunction with Licensing Sales Manager, you will assist in the long-term strategy for specific departments in collaboration with relevant collaborators

  • Using key trends as well as commercial and consumer insight, support the implementation of strategies cross company and departmentally whilst being agile to capitalise on the moment and identify new opportunities.

  • Support the Licensing Sales Manager with the annual operating plan and quarterly forecasting process, developing sourcing agents objectives and strategies, working with local markets, category teams, franchise, marketing, product development and finance to drive growth

  • Support and cultivate the relationship engagement and partnership with each EMEA account, new and existing

  • Project management of business critical events.

  • Being responsible for administration of contracts and support for certain accounts and appropriately advise all key partners (global, EMEA and local)

  • Communicate the International Labour Standards (ILS) process and Product Intergrity (PI) and be the conduit between the supplier and The Walt Disney Company ILS/PI team

  • Help in the execution of our new business development pitches and develop research projects with a focus on identifying scalable opportunities

Areas of Accountability

  • Accountable to Senior Licensing Sales Manager / Licensing Sales Manager

Accountable for delivering against annually agreed performance commitments

  • Supporting the team in delivering against part-targeted financial royalty revenue annually

  • Accountable for supporting with the annual operating plan and quarterly forecasting process

  • Accountable for encouraging and maintaining positive relationships and collaborating across departments internally and externally!

Experience and Professional Qualifications Required

  • Degree level education in a related field or equivalent work experience


Experience within consumer products commercialisation

  • Proven experience of building effective relationships, leading and managing change and collaboration across departments to achieve financial targets and joint goals

Skills Required

  • Financial foresight – an ability to translate numbers into a working plan

  • Ability to analyse data, construct practical conclusions and make recommendations to achieve business targets.

  • Forming relationships with sourcing agents and key collaborators.

  • Project and event management.

  • Cultural sensitivity and an understanding of local markets across EMEA

Additional Information

  • Contribution to ad-hoc projects as the business requires

  • Flexible hours may be required to meet business needs
