As a Content Marketing Manager will lead the development and roll-out of EMEA regional content marketing campaigns for global General Entertainment content on Disney+! In this role the focus - and measurement of success - is to drive content awareness, Disney+ platform attribution, customer engagement and increase acquisition of Disney+ as measured primarily via first streams.

This role will also focus on further building franchises and fame for hit shows such as The Bear, Only Murders in the Building, Shōgun, The Kardashians and Welcome to Wrexham, ensuring they have a year-round approach, as well as leading the new season launches of these titles, and other original shows from FX, Hulu, ABC and Disney Branded Television.

The individual will report to the EMEA Senior Content Marketing Manager (Global General Entertainment) and work in tandem with the rest of the content marketing team who also look after EMEA and UK local originals. They will co-ordinate planning with peers and will be expected to build excellent relationships with counterparts across the London office, with the US teams and be a key POC for local market colleagues wherever content marketing is concerned.

What You Will Do

  • Deliver industry leading, insight-based, innovative, differentiated & effective content campaigns to markets for local amplification and activation.

  • Work with the Snr Content Marketing Manager on setting campaign objectives, allocating budget, compiling the media brief/strategy and execution for key new Disney+ launches.

  • Collaborate with the internal creative team and agencies on the creative development, production and execution of content campaigns and support the Senior Content Marketing with the content planning milestones for campaign up to and including the creative wall walk and post campaign analysis.

  • Team up with agency partners on developing and delivering regional media guidelines for each new launch.

  • Detailed campaign budget management, tracking purchase orders, managing vendors, and supporting the Senior Content Marketing Manager with quarterly financial planning.

  • Create EMEA templates for market feedback and collate regional content marketing summary on a monthly and weekly basis for regional and US reporting.

  • Become a key point of contact for local marketing content campaign requirements on a day-to-day basis.

  • Work closely with Performance Marketing, social media, PR and communications and the EMEA brand team to ensure regional campaign strategies and plans are aligned and integrated.

  • Partner with our research team and lead campaign asset testing process with Kantar.

  • Lead and mentor the Content Marketing Coordinator and Intern to ensure team is motivated and supported.

  • Leading all aspects of the creation of key franchise materials including decks, toolkits, the management of brand assets and approvals across multiple teams and properties.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience with Marketing content within the Entertainment industry (preferably SVOD).

  • Experienced in developing and deploying content campaigns and marketing toolkits at a regional level from scratch to local market counterparts.

  • EMEA regional experience including understanding market environment, communications and cultural nuances.

  • Ability to run high impact, large budget end to end marketing campaigns across multiple touchpoints and tactical content campaigns which mainly rely on owned and earned performance and digital channels.

  • Media, creative agency and production team experience including writing inspirational briefs.

  • Budget management experience.
