About The Role & Team

Are you ready to make a magical impact at Disney? As a Media & Search Executive, you'll support the goals for Walt Disney World (WDW) and Disney Cruise Line (DCL) by developing and implementing media plans for the UK and Irish markets. Collaborate with key marketing leaders to translate strategies into detailed media plans, leveraging market insights and consumer data. You'll work with central and local teams to optimize media across all channels. Join us in driving excellence and ensuring our campaigns are aligned and impactful.

This role requires you to be in the London office in Hammersmith 4 days a week.

What You Will You Do

  • Translate marketing and media strategies into detailed media plans for WDW and DCL campaigns by leveraging and integrating market insights, competitive data, consumer feedback, media consumption trends, target specifics, and business learnings.
  • Partner with central and local teams to develop an integrated vision across paid, owned, and earned media, optimizing message and budget efficiencies across each brand's digital ecosystem.
  • Lead the bought media development process (briefing, planning, buying, reporting, and auditing) with local media agencies, ensuring excellence across all touchpoints, markets, and brands.
  • Ensure full alignment of campaign timing, budget, and performance with all stakeholders.
  • Manage the offline and digital campaign implementation process, including briefing creative specs to the creative team and tagging for online formats, as well as building tracking URLs.
  • Oversee the media budget management process, including resource allocation, administrative PO processes, and budget forecasting.
  • Collaborate with media teams based in Paris to understand EMEA local deals, strategies, and KPI tracking, ensuring consistency and integration within the UK and Ireland WDW and DCL plans. Learn from efficiencies, new formats, and successful partners in other markets.
  • Foster media and digital knowledge throughout the marketing team.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Media experience in an agency or multi-national marketing environment 
  • Understanding of media management across TV, radio, online and social
  • Demonstrated strategic and tactical skills related to implementation of marketing and sales plans and recommending resources necessary for success
  • Exceptional negotiation, organizational, project management and communication skills to balance marketing programs across three brands for optimal execution and success
  • Degree majoring in Media/Marketing or a relating discipline or certification from IPM advantageous
  • Strong background in media agencies and / or in digital agencies
  • Fluent in English and French an advantage.  
  • Background in both media / online planning and buying and integrated communications 
  • Strong communication and coordination skills. 
  • Computer literate, proficient in using key Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
  • Highly effective communication skills 
  • Personable and diplomatic, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships 
  • Strong presentation skills 
  • Highly motivated and positive ‘Can Do’ attitude 
  • Able to manage multiple projects in a fast paced and ever-changing environment 
  • Flexible on working hours and travel 
  • Highly analytical and results orientated
