This is a 12 Month contract opportunity to join our busy and successful Buying and Merchandising team.

The Coordinator will support the Associate Merchandise Planner in driving business by assisting with the execution of quarterly/annual assortment strategies. Supporting all department activities, including: analysing item, category and channel performance to optimise in-season opportunities and minimise liability. Identify stock concerns and proactively communicate these to your team.

This role will require you to be onsite 4 days a week in our Hammersmith, west London office, plus one day working from home.

What You Will Do

  • Support Associate Merchandise Planner to maintain the department items. Communicate add/drop assortment changes to help inform future orders,

  • Prepare and review weekly sales performance, mapping of new items and updating flow,

  • Ensure reports are accurate and all stock movement is accounted through the supply chain. Own and maintain the order tracker for our business in Europe, Middle East and Africa, plus Asia Pacific and new Marketplaces

  • Communicate to key contacts within the business, and externally, any stock movement from port through to warehouse,

  • Support leader with business insight and analytics to optimise in-season opportunities and minimise liability,

  • Work with your buying and merchandising colleagues to ensure all product releases are delivered on time

  • Proactively manage planning tasks associated with trading performance, intake movement and priorities, and product availability for allocation,

  • Ensure allocation mix and range plans are available to allocate for each channel,

  • Identify stock concerns and proactively communicate action plan to leadership,

  • Assist the team with projects, as needed,

  • Produce reports as needed

  • Understand and utilise available tools to analyse business performance,

  • With the team ensure all liquidation activity is set up accurately on the system to go live at the correct time in the correct market/channel.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Recent experience working in retail in-store or as a Merchandising Assistant, Allocator/Distributor within an omni-channel retailer, essential,

  • Demonstrable experience of working in teams and building effective relationships.

  • Working knowledge of business intelligence software and planning system,

  • Collaborative approach with excellent communication skills,

  • Strong written and spoken English for business use, essential,

  • Strong planning and organisation skills and ability to prioritise workload and deliver within challenging timeframes,

  • Ability to problem solve, Highly numerate with good Excel skills,

  • Cultural sensitivity for working as part of a busy, global team
