About the Role & Team

Here at Disney+ we are looking for an inspirational Senior Design Manager to join our award-winning in-house creative team. In this role you would report to the Creative Director and work in close collaboration with the Senior Creative Manager. This is a key position leading the design function, responsible for delivering innovative design solutions for Disney+ across a wide range of projects and platforms. What You Will Do

  • Leading all aspects of and directing the design team, ensuring outstanding design, primarily across Performance, Customer, and Social
  • Leading and nurturing a diverse team of designers by inspiring the team with your knowledge and passion for the craft
  • Hands-on ability to generate ideas and bring them to life using layouts, mock-ups, style frames, mood boards, animations, and more
  • Collaborating on Brand campaigns to ensure design solutions are in line with overall creative strategy
  • Comfortable working with creative producers, supporting and helping them realise their creative vision through design
  • Adapting existing global design assets, including guidelines and templates, for local use
  • Approving in-market design assets produced across EMEA
  • Briefing and leading external agency partners
  • Encouraging an inclusive, collaborative and respectful culture, and acting as a role model leading with integrity

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Expert skills in art direction and typography
  • Understanding of both static and motion design
  • In-depth knowledge of industry-standard design software, including but not limited to Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and Figma
  • Proven grasp of the technical aspects of print, digital, and Audio Visual delivery
  • Experience in leading, mentoring and developing a team
  • Demonstrated background in leading multiple work streams and projects across Brand, Performance, Customer, and Social
  • Experience in leading global brands across EMEA markets
  • A strong portfolio, including work across multiple platforms such as TV & OOH, social and digital, performance marketing, PR collateral and events

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to articulate a clear and compelling vision for design at Disney+
  • A skilled communicator, you're comfortable pitching and presenting work to senior stakeholders, commanding their trust and respect
  • A background in streaming or broadcast TV is an advantage
  • A passion for great content
