About the Role & Team

An opportunity exists to support this dynamic organisation as a Sr. Financial Analyst in our London-based team. Specifically, this role will work with various business partners including to senior level for the following value chains:

- Order to Cash

- Banking and Treasury

- Source to Pay

- Travel & Expense
 

What You Will Do

Process Support, Process Improvement and Governance

  • Supports the governance and monitoring of finance system compliance in accordance with company policies & standards as well as local statutory and SOX requirements.
  • Applies knowledge and understanding of financial and accounting principles to our systems and business processes.
  • Partners with various client groups and the IT department to identify system enhancement requirements and operational improvement opportunities.
  • Works with EMEA Process Leads to resolve technical feasibility, priority and impact.
  • Facilitates requirements capturing sessions and assists in preparing Functional Specifications
  • Performs enhancement testing and participates in major system release testing to ensure there is no impact on the integrity of the system’s functionality or data.
  • Create, track, resolve and close service requests to customer satisfaction via our incident management tool.
  • Stay up-to-date on technology and solutions for key finance processes and business analytics.
  • Prepares documentation of system and process best practices.
     

Project Management

  • Leads small-scale projects or relevant workstreams of a larger project.
  • Interacts with IT, other departments and subject matter experts to support implementations and enhancements.
  • Drives project activities to ensure project progress is on schedule.
  • Effectively communicates with management, colleagues, subject matter experts and project team members.
  • Performs and/or facilitates System Integration and User Acceptance tests.
  • Participates in training & development and provides expert end-user training.
     

Leadership and Strategy

  • Promotes teamwork both internally and externally.
  • Increases to the efficiency and morale of the team.
  • Solves issues and drives solutions with sound judgement.
  • Listens and asks questions to ensure understanding.
  • Pulls and supervises metrics to obtain trends and patterns to identify process/system. opportunities and implement corrective action.
     

Communication

  • Regularly interacts with end users and clients on matters concerning their functional area, segments and department
  • Concisely develops and delivers key information; ability to develop presentations, communications and training
  • Tailor messages appropriately to the audiences
  • Conveys relevant information in a timely and concise manner
     

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong technical experience in SAP ECC 6.0 Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable modules
  • Proven experience in implementing business processes in SAP ECC 6.0
  • Deep system expertise in Source to Pay, Order to Cash and Banking as well as strong skills in the technology that supports them, SAP and Coupa
  • Proven experience in participating in the full range of testing activities (including but not limited to: functional testing, user acceptance testing, and system integration testing)
  • Analysis of and participation in formal change management processes - performing requirements gathering, writing functional specifications, testing, Go-Live/system implementation and hypercare
  • Strong negotiating and consensus-driving abilities
  • Excellent Excel skills for data analysis
  • Exemplary communications skills
