Job Summary:

This position requires you to be based in our Madrid offices 4 days a week.

This role reports directly to the Programming Manager for the delivery of Baltics General Entertainment & Factual channels linear schedule/plans on Excel/WON within the guidelines, strategy and timings. We are looking for an individual with previous experience on programming or TV media to join our team on a fixed term contract for 3 months.

Main Responsibilities

Delivers the channels linear content planning in Excel and WON based on plans established and agreed with Programming Manager. These include:

  • Monthly excel grid based on generic excel proposed schedule.

  • Monthly WON plan.

  • Epg uploads/TV-Guides deliveries

Take accountability for ensuring relevant documents and databases are kept up to date with accurate information (i.e. roll-outs) following strategy established by Programming Manager.

Maintains current knowledge of market place and competitor activity reporting back as appropriate.

Communicates effectively with team members and managers to ensure successful delivery of plans and schedules in line with department requirements and timings.

Initiates creative ideas to ensure the continual improvement of plans/schedules.

Coordinates with technical teams (Operations, media-planning, creative services… to assure a smooth broadcast/delivery of channels linear plans.

Qualification/education/knowledge desired:

Higher Level Education in Communications or similar.

Must have experience in a similar role/organisation.

Knowledge of media market, especially children's sector!

Product knowledge and technical expertise relevant to the role (WON).

Proficient in English and Spanish.

Audience analysis experience is a plus!
