This is a 6 months Fixed Term Contract with the option of working one day per week from home.

Responsible for the delivery of linear and non-linear scheduling and planning across kids’ channels, ensuring accurate execution of electronic programme guides and planning materials using Excel, the internal planning system, and other required formats, in line with agreed strategy, guidelines, and timelines set by the Programming Senior Manager.
 

Main Responsibilities
• Deliver linear and non-linear schedules and content plans using Excel and the internal planning system for multi-territory kids’ channel feeds, based on direction from the Programming Senior Manager. This includes:
o Monthly schedule grids in Excel aligned with established planning frameworks.
o Monthly planning in the internal planning system.
o Electronic programme guide uploads and television listings delivery.
o Management of programme metadata.
o Coordination of language tracking documents to ensure delivery within transmission deadlines.

• Ensure all relevant planning documents and databases are maintained and kept up to date with accurate information, including content rollouts, metadata, and historical planning records.

• Analyse linear and non-linear performance data to evaluate channel performance, monitor competitors, and recommend improvements to scheduling and programming strategies.

• Maintain a strong understanding of the market and competitor landscape, with a focus on pre-school content, and share insights with stakeholders as appropriate.

• Collaborate with team members and managers to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of schedules and plans in line with departmental priorities.

• Support the communication of scheduling information across the organisation.

• Contribute ideas to continuously improve planning and scheduling processes.

• Work closely with technical teams to ensure smooth content delivery and broadcast operations.

Qualifications, Education and Knowledge
• Degree in Communications or a related field.
• Experience in a similar role or environment.
• Knowledge of the media landscape, particularly within kids’ content.
• Familiarity with planning tools and systems used for scheduling.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Experience in analyzing audience data is a plus
