As a Social Media Coordinator for Disney+, Disney's Direct to Consumer video entertainment service, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the brand's presence across social platforms in Spain. This role is integral to driving audience engagement, building affinity for Disney+ content, and enhancing the overall social media strategy. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with marketing, PR, and creative efforts, while leveraging data-driven insights to optimize content and campaigns. This job is a permanent position based 4 days a week in our office in Madrid.
 

Responsibilities:
 

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing the Disney+ social media strategy in Spain, ensuring alignment with the brand’s global vision and local market needs. Your efforts will directly contribute to increasing awareness, engagement, and affinity for Disney+ content among diverse audiences. Success in this role requires creativity, adaptability, and a data-driven approach to social media management.

  • Plan and implement the local social media strategy, ensuring alignment with Disney+ brand values and objectives.

  • Manage content calendars, scheduling, and publishing of content alongside the social media agency.

  • Grow and nurture Disney+ social channels to ensure the brand is a key player in Spain’s social conversation.

  • Use social listening and data analytics to inform and pivot social strategies, monitor conversations, and refine tone of voice.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, PR, local originals, and regional teams to integrate social media into broader communication efforts.

  • Coordinate with paid social leads and brand managers to ensure efficient application of paid social efforts.
     

Required Qualifications:

  • Exceptional communication skills in Spanish and English, with the ability to adapt tone for diverse audiences.

  • Proven experience in agency management, ensuring strategic alignment and measurable business impact.

  • Strong analytical skills, confident working with data and numbers, with a keen eye for detail.

  • Demonstrated ability in problem-solving through teamwork.

  • Deep understanding of the influencer ecosystem, including talent identification and performance measurement.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in diverse group settings.

  • Proactively identify trends and opportunities to drive action and deliver value.

  • Passionate about social media trends, entertainment, and Disney culture.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working within the SVOD, TV, or film industry.

  • Proven track record in managing social media campaigns for major brands.

  • Knowledge of social listening tools and analytics platforms.

  • Advanced understanding of digital marketing strategies and audience engagement techniques.
