Job Summary:

*This position is office based 4 days per week in Madrid*

The person occupying this role will lead areas of Customer acquisition, retention and engagement (performance marketing, customer management & merchandising), working closely with YJE Brand, PR, Synergy & Partnerships teams as well as the wider central and global performance and acquisition teams. They will be responsible for developing and implementing a local strategy for the 3 areas in their scope, aligned with the global and regional priorities and guidelines.

Areas of Responsibility and Accountability

In market lead for Performance & Acquisition Marketing as well as CRM and Merchandising

Make sure the 3 areas work together to guarantee alignment across customer facing channels

Owner of the paid media spend and strategy

Lead all aspects of the plan and execution of the quarterly campaign laydowns for Spain and Portugal in coordination with brand marketing

Provide expertise and analysis in affiliate programs to onboard new partners and increase volume of this channel.

Align performance forecasts with business goals, coordinate with finance and data analytics.

Weekly executive reporting to C-level with insights on what is performing best and worst

Lead creative resources to ensure delivery within given timelines

Provide local analysis on best performing channels, campaigns and titles

Provide quarterly business reviews and key findings with action plans to achieve the targets on the upcoming months

Lifecycle Marketing: Adapt global baseline journeys for local market across multiple channels

Responsible for A/B test proposal to the Regional team

Provide insight and input on local publishers, opportunities and tactics to target new audiences and optimise measurement metrics.

Build a strong relationship with Regional and Global stakeholders, ensuring local initiatives can be implemented (internal discussions with USA channel specialists to ensure proposals and tests are implemented)

Collaborate with regional build resource for Campaign build and delivery Performance evaluation and develop recommendations at a customer and campaign level

Identify and lead new initiatives and acquisition new initiatives, non-paid

CVR landing page optimisation in a multinational matrix (benchmarks, purchase funnel).

From a CRM point of view, lead overall test and learn plan for Spain

Experience and Professional Qualifications Required

+4 years of experience in a Performance Marketing role, and overall knowledge on the customer funnel

Retention expertise, from a subscription business if possible

Experience in creating exec dashboards and comfortable in communicating results on a trading environment

Acquisition expertise from a subscription or DTCI business

Critical metric focused & familiar with data in self-serve environments

Experience working in a fast-paced trading environment

Experienced working with different collaborators globally

Successful track record in Performance Marketing with in-depth experience of digital.

Good understanding and working knowledge of MS Excel, Google Docs / Google Drive,, Looker and/or Data Studio experience preferred.

Exposure to working with key campaign management tools and platforms (Google AdWords, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, DV360, Campaign manager, etc.)

Understanding of market nuances and dynamics to deliver a global strategy while also balancing local adaptions to drive local results.

Ideally, experience of working in an international matrix organisation.

Skills Required

  • Local language is important and awareness of local trends / preferences.

  • Proficient in English (Negotiation Level)

  • Experience or knowledge of SEO.
