- Develop and implement business strategies for Softline categories (Fashion, Home) in Japan market, in line with business priorities of Japan Brand Commercialization.
- Define and develop new business opportunities and strategic licensing partners in the responsible categories to grow the business.
- Collaborate with APAC business leaders and implement global/APAC initiatives into Japan market, as well as driving the cross-border strategy across APAC.
- Achieve AOP revenue target and sales objectives, with driving long-term strategic plan.
- Work closely with key licensees to set future strategies for the business growth including contract negotiation, product development, sales management, marketing & promotion, etc.
- Analyse responsible categories to develop strategies and tactics for the business growth.
- Proactively support licensees’ marketing & promotion initiatives for Disney licensed products, working closely with marketing team, to engage Disney guests across channels and trades.
- Understand consumer insights to improve franchise presence and drive merchandises with licensee plans and consumer engagement.
- Work closely with other LOBs (Line of Business) and global/APAC stake holders to deliver common strategic goals and objectives as well as maximize synergy effect of Disney properties.
- Explore new and white spaces to figure out business and organizational opportunities, don’t hesitate challenges.
- Manage licensees to provide accurate sales forecasts and revenue accruals.
- Work closely with Product Design & APAC Creative teams to develop best-in-class creative products.
- Pursue operational excellence and improve the process focusing on STOP, START, CONTINUE approaches.
- Motivate teams through establishment of clear and challenging strategies and objectives.
- Engage team members to navigate them into the goals and objectives.
- Assess team members’ performance and coach them effectively to develop them as future leaders.
