Job Summary:

The Partner Marketing Manager will play a critical role in assisting and supporting the Global Partner Marketing team and Global CTV paid team as they plan and execute marketing campaigns across our device partner platforms (Apple, Google, Samsung, PlayStation, XBOX, and more) in the Asia-Pacific markets. The successful candidate will bring a highly analytical, creative, collaborative and flexible growth mindset to the role, which will be critical to delivering breakthrough thinking for this channel.

  • Partner closely with global teams to handle day to day partner requests that align with overall promotional strategies for Disney+
  • Build and maintain close relationships with local partners based in Japan to identify and secure collaboration opportunities
  • Manage, organize and track workflows with cross functional teams until marketing assets requests are completed and delivered
  • Collaborate with local legal teams to handle all approvals before delivering creative to Global teams or local partners
  • Effectively communicate and present local programming priorities to teams and partners
  • Responsible for creating recap decks for leadership presentations
  • Assist in media planning and campaign trafficking needs for local partners, working closely with Global team to ensure all campaigns launch with flawless execution
  • Perform ongoing campaign performance analysis, working with internal teams to report back on results driven from our investments and provide campaign summaries/learnings
  • Think strategically about paid/editorial campaigns to maximize on-platform exposure and budgets
  • Collaborate with central global team on instituting best practices + coordinating (and memorializing) test & learn efforts
  • Responsible for staying up to date on emerging trends and technologies – particularly within the OTT/CTV paid media and measurement space
  • Ability to analyze campaign performance with regular data analysis, measuring against KPIs & report on any trends & granular insights to internal stakeholders
  • Role will report to global teams based in the United States collaborating closely with local teams in Japan

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of partner/client management in Japan, digital media planning and performance media buying
  • Native Japanese and business level English (read and write)
  • Experience working with marketing assets and giving creative teams and/or agencies feedback/direction to execute partner marketing requests
  • Mastery of media planning concepts and digital media terminology
  • Self-starter, highly motivated, positive demeanor, excellent communicator, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with OTT/CTV buying landscape highly preferred, but not required
  • Performance marketing experience (i.e. optimizing towards lower- funnel objectives, like conversion, with KPI’s like cost-per-acquisition or return on ad spend) is a must
  • Experience with conversion tracking and mobile marketing attribution partners (such as Kochava) and also digital reporting tools (such as Google Analytics, Adobe) is required
  • Experience with and understanding of multitouch attribution models preferred
  • Understanding of paid digital streaming and subscription ecosystem is a plus
  • Reasonable availability to respond to requests and monitor/optimize campaigns outside normal business hours
  • Polished professional with excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong analytics and superior data manipulation (Excel) skills are a must
  • University degree required
