Due to internal movement and paternity leave, we have a rare opportunity for a Sales Executive on a 12 month contract to join a passionate team who generate ad sales revenue by selling ESPN and Disney properties to a portfolio of agency and direct clients.

The Sales Executive would benefit from having a passion for sport, in particular NBA and NFL in the United States, as well an in-depth knowledge of domestic and international leagues and clubs. With a proactive approach and a hunger for success, you will work with our team across day to day tasks to ensure that we are able to deliver consistent and quality outcomes for our clients.

Your key responsibilities will be, but are not limited to:

  • Maintain weekly/monthly contact with media agencies to build relationships and ensure all potential opportunities are covered

  • Communicate with our Creative Solution and Ad Ops teams to deliver on client requests

  • Communicate with clients on their day-to-day requirements

  • Ensure agency and client creative materials are sent to the Ad Ops team with enough time to implement campaigns

  • Liaise with Ad Ops and Creative Solution teams to implement standard and integrated campaigns

  • Ensure all reporting is in place for the period of the campaign and report to agencies on the performance of campaigns

  • Keeping creative materials consistent with ESPN/Disney standards and practices

  • Responsible for ensuring campaigns are implemented on time and reporting is in place for the agency/client

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Experience in TV and/or Digital Media sales experience with an understanding of the Australian media landscape

  • Clear and confident communication skills with the ability to pitch presentations and engage audiences

  • Advanced MS Office skills with the ability to develop and present engaging presentations

  • The gift of the gab combined with a genuine interest in people

  • A love for selling solutions  – as much as we do!

  • The ability to form authentic and lasting relationships based on trust and mutuality 

  • A desire to learn and develop from some of the best in the industry!
