What You Will Do

  • Greet and always become available to Guests in a friendly manner, prioritizing Guest interaction over tasks. Treats everyone with dignity and respect.
  • Contribute to a high energy environment that provides Guests with a positive, fun, and dynamic experience.
  • Show the ability to communicate clearly and effectively when approaching and interacting with Guests. Work in a way that is fair and trustworthy, being open with all who interact with our brand.
  • Maintain a neat and organized Store, on stage and backstage so that product is clearly represented and available for replenishment.
  • Maintain and participate in producing company visual standards to present an outstanding Store environment.
  • Ensure that all new product is on stage so that the Guest experiences the most current assortment.
  • Assist with stock deliveries and replenishment to agreed standards.
  • Participate in markdowns and Stage Sets.
  • Help fellow employees navigate company resources and learn about discounts and new company initiatives.
  • Achieve financial and productivity goals, as agreed with the management team, through appropriate actions and use of Guest service behaviors.
  • Set priorities and manage time effectively and efficiently.
  • Perform effective till transactions that enhance the Guest perception and observes all relevant SOPs protecting Company assets including cash handling.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 3-5 years retail experience as Sales Representative, Sales Associate, or similar role.
  • Familiarity with POS (point of sale) systems and the ability to learn new technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
  • Outstanding guests service skills
  • Ability to upsell.
  • Professional appearance.
  • Ability to perform in fast-paced environments.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts.
  • High school degree

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift heavy objects (50 pounds or more) from time to time as required.
  • Ability to stand for an extended period of time.
  • Move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store, which entails lifting and perform all functions as set forth.
     

This position reports to the Assistant Store Manager, TWDC Store.


The pay rate for this role in New York is $16.00-$20.50 per hour. The base pay actually offered may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
