The Sports Brand Solutions group is a team of experts that provide creative marketing sponsorship and integration opportunities across ESPN’s vast content portfolio. The team is responsible for the sponsorship process including, but not limited to, strategy, ideation, and execution.

The Social Center of Excellence team sits within Sports Brand Solutions and develops advertising solutions to maximize advertising revenue on social platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, X and YouTube from ESPN and ESPN talent social handles and channels.

Job Summary:

The Coordinator, Sports Brand Solutions will be responsible for assisting the Social Center of Excellence team and sport specific Sports Brand Solutions teams as needed for advertiser social requests.  The primary role will be to work with various teams within ESPN including Disney Ad Sales, Sports Brand Solutions, Digital Production, Social Editorial, CreativeWorks and Social Pricing / Activation to ensure execution for a variety of sold advertising programs.

The Coordinator will play a key role in creating and maintaining sales materials, including new proactive solutions and updating existing sales presentations on a quarterly basis with new information. The Coordinator will also be responsible for sharing links for live programs and to help in campaign recaps of sold programs.

Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:

  • Maintain & update sales materials for all platforms & proactive sponsorship opportunities, as well as tracking documents
  • Collaborate with the ESPN social editorial team & Sports Brand Solutions teams on proactive sales opportunities throughout the year.
  • Develop a strong understanding of ESPN’s rights portfolio as it pertains to social media for designated sports 
  • Manage post sale process of social sponsorships through the development and review of post-sale obligations, obligations calendar, graphic design requests & active communication with all key stakeholders.
  • Work closely with CreativeWorks, Social Editorial, and Social Pricing & Activation for social branded content executions
  • Provide social screenshots or links and key insights to internal stakeholders when needed during or after advertiser campaigns
  • Regularly meet with Social Platform Partner Teams

Required/Preferred Education, Experience/Skills/Training:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 1 years related work experience
  • A passion for sports with an interest in social media, streaming, and creating advertising solutions 
  • Experience in digital media sales or influencer marketing preferred
  • Proficient with PowerPoint, Sharepoint, Word, Excel, and Google Docs
  • An optimistic, solution oriented attitude
  • EXTREMELY detail oriented and strong time management skills

The hiring range for this position in NY is $55,800.00 to $74,800.00 per year and in CA is $53,300 to $71,300 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
