The Growth Marketing team is tasked with driving new subscriber acquisition & driving Disney Streaming’s profitability business objectives for Disney+ and The Disney Bundle. Our team is responsible for the planning, execution, and optimization of user acquisition and performance marketing campaigns. If selected for this role, you will report to the Sr. Manager, Affiliate Marketing. The approximate dates of this internship are January through June 2025.
What You Will Do
We are looking for an intern to assist in supporting our global affiliate and partnership marketing efforts promoting our streaming platforms across the affiliate channel. You will be exposed to the day-to-day responsibilities of working in the entertainment marketing field, gain an understanding of digital marketing campaign building, project management and internal/external communication.
The Intern will play a critical role in assisting and supporting business development, recruitment efforts, planning and execution of publisher campaigns across top partners and PR communication of upcoming content and platform initiatives. Our ideal candidate will have interest in digital and partner marketing strategy. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about paid media and wants to be at the forefront of a developing, innovative channel. Responsibilities include:
Assisting in program strategy across the affiliate ecosystem including development of sell-in documents, partner communications, and campaign setup
Analyzing data and metrics to identify key opportunities to improve KPI performance, increase scale, enhance efficiency of marketing spend and assist in implementing daily strategies to drive subscriber acquisition, conversion & efficiency
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, key vendors, publisher partners, agencies and working with regional counterparts to expand business initiatives globally
Drafting creative briefs, and tracking creative process from proposal through approval and campaign launch
Conducting market research to stay up-to-date with best practices and emerging trends
Required Qualifications & Skills
Passion for digital marketing, streaming, industry advertising trends and understanding of the unique attributes of every step in the marketing funnel
Excellent writing, verbal and interpersonal communication skills working with colleagues across departments at all levels
Hardworking, proactive, eager to learn and willing to tackle new challenges
Well organized, with positive relationship-building and time-management skills
Strategic self-starter and ability to prioritize many ongoing projects
Ability to manage confidential information with flexibility and ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications
Highly analytical, resourceful with critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Multilingual proficiency (Spanish, Portuguese, French, or other)
Education
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
Major or previous coursework in Business Administration, Marketing, Media or related major preferred

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
Be at least 18 years of age
Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program
Possess unrestricted work authorization
Additional Information
The approximate dates of this internship are January through May 2025
Able to work Monday through Friday for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the New York City area
The pay rate for this role in New York City is $22 per hour.
