What You Will Do:
The Merchandise Intern will observe and assist with merchandise development and logistics by tracking project milestones and supporting coordination across multiple Live Event and Stage Play processes. A successful intern will assist with organization of Licensed Stage Production and Live Ticketed Event merchandise projects and shadow brand management relationships. They will also gain knowledge and exposure to the full product cycle of our theatrical consumer product operations. They will partake and collaborate in corporate merchandise meetings contributing to our department strategies and goals for FY26.
Product Samples: Receives product samples from suppliers, tags and organizes on site.
Project milestone tracking for key timelines and updates.
Assist with sales tracking and data input.
Attend meetings related to product development, inventory management, vendor/partner relationship, and creative freelance projects.
Participate and collaborate in brainstorming meetings for new product ideas.
Attend weekly merchandise update meetings as well as other retail sales and visual merchandising strategy meetings.
Periodically observe Broadway retail sales periods for consumer behavior and retail operations.
Assist with market trend research.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Success in working in a team environment. Proven ability to create a positive work environment.
Experience and minimum Intermediate skill with Microsoft Office (Excel, SharePoint).
Education:
Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business, Communications, or Merchandising.
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess unrestricted work authorization

Must provide full work availability from June 1 through August 14, 2026
Must provide own housing and transportation, position is located in New York City.
