What you will do
- Maintain, improve, and create financial models to forecast and analyze technology expenses
- Prepare forecasts, annual operating plan (AOP), long-range plan (LRP), and variance analysis
- Track invoices and contractual obligations, reconcile general ledger data, and manage accrual and reclass processes during the financial close; partner with Accounting on actualizing P&Ls
- Prepare ad-hoc reports, special projects, and presentations for various internal stakeholders across Technology and Finance
- A solid skillset gained through course work in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
- Intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and a willingness to embrace and adapt to an ever-changing environment
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously
- Collaborative mindset combined with ability to work independently
- Data analytics mindset
- Ability to structure projects and handle ambiguous data
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Data Visualization (i.e. Tableau) and Business Intelligence tools
- Current Junior, Rising Senior or Graduate student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Math, Statistics, Computer Science or a scientific field
- Program Dates: Approximately June 2025 through August 2025
- Must be available to work full-time hours approximately 40 hours per week for the duration of the internship
- Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
- Must possess unrestricted work authorization
- Must provide own housing and transportation to/from work (New York, NY)
The pay rate for this role in New York, NY is $22 per hour.
