The Growth Marketing team is tasked with driving global subscriber growth for Disney+ and Disney’s streaming bundles. The team is responsible for the planning, execution and optimization of subscriber acquisition and performance marketing campaigns.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Growth Marketing Platforms Intern to join our in-house media team. This role offers hands-on experience working with innovative paid media channels and technologies at the forefront of digital media including Programmatic CTV, Digital Audio, Mobile DSPs, and other innovative platforms. The ideal candidate is curious about how paid media innovation, data, and technology come together to shape modern marketing strategies, eager to learn how campaigns are activated and measured, and comfortable working with numbers, research, and cross-functional teams. This internship is a full-time commitment in the NY, NY area from June 2026 – December 2026.
You'll get mentorship from experienced media buyers and marketing leaders, along with exposure to platform-specific buying strategies and optimization tactics, along with ad tech concepts including tracking integrations, measurement tools, and supply path optimization.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities:
- Assist with campaign setup, trafficking, and quality assurance across emerging media platforms (e.g., Programmatic CTV, Audio, Mobile DSPs).
- Support campaign monitoring by pulling performance data, checking pacing, and flagging optimization opportunities.
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitive activity, and new ad formats to inform channel testing.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Analytics, Creative, Strategy) to support campaign execution ad help document campaign workflows, vendor requirements, and platform learnings.
- Contribute to knowledge-sharing efforts such as updating playbooks, training materials, and best practices.
- Stay informed on industry trends, platform updates, and emerging ad formats.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Strong interest in digital media, advertising technology, and emerging advertising platforms.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with analytics or visualization tools.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- Prior hands-on exposure to paid media or programmatic execution through internships, coursework, certifications, or academic projects.
- Familiarity with programmatic platforms or ad tech tools, such as DSPs (e.g., DV360, Yahoo DSP, Amazon DSP) or related media buying systems.
- Experience working with campaign performance data, including building reports, analyzing results, or summarizing insights using spreadsheets or dashboards.
Education
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Junior or Senior year preferred.
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
- Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
- Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Possess unrestricted work authorization.
Additional Information
- Fully available from June 2026 to December 2026 for the duration of the internship, around 40 hours each week.
- Able to provide own housing and transportation for the duration of the internship program in the NY, NY area.
The pay rate for this role in New York is $22.50 per hour.
