The Disney Multiplatform Partnerships team is looking for a well-organized, flexible, and enthusiastic Multiplatform Partnerships Associate to join our team. Reporting to the Director, this person will assist with the development and execution of partnership campaigns that drive growth and reinforce the value of Disney’s television Networks; ABC, Disney, ESPN, Freeform, FX, and the National Geographic Channels and studio properties including; Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, Pixar, Walt Disney Animation Studios, 20th Century Pictures, and Searchlight Pictures.
Job Summary:
This role is an integral contributor within the Multiplatform Partnerships account team in the innovation, development and execution of scalable partner campaigns that support both Pay TV/Linear Networks and In-Home Theatrical/Transactional lines of business to drive acquisition, retention and revenue goals for The Walt Disney Company. The Multiplatform Partnerships Associate will collaborate with internal stakeholders including but not limited to; Platform Distribution Sales, Marketing, Brand Networks, Legal and PR teams, and our external distribution partners to execute campaigns that support key linear content and studio priorities. This role will communicate monthly programming priorities, negotiate on-platform editorial placements, social media promotion and where applicable, work with agency partners to execute paid marketing campaigns, aimed to drive tune-in and engagement with key TV content priorities and theatrical titles.
Additionally, the ideal candidate will work with external partners and multiple internal stakeholders to manage high-volume creative routings and approvals and traffic marketing creative in a timely manner to meet campaign deadlines. This position will also manage team budgets and lead invoice management (including invoice processing, accruals, and forecasting). This role proactively creates marketing presentations to showcase strategic approach for multiple audiences, merchandises ongoing activity and socializes performance/campaign results. The ideal candidate is a highly collaborative individual interested in partnership marketing with strong written and verbal communication skills, focused, detailed oriented, and innovative.
Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:
Manage creative development processes including facilitating asset review/approval process with internal sport/network and legal contacts, providing direction on asset specs and managing communication to internal and external partners, ensuring work is finished in a timely manner, on budget and delivered to the appropriate outlet/partner.
Act as the resident expert on studio titles and network programming properties and work closely with cross-functional teams to identify information needed to execute account specific marketing plans/strategies.
Build and maintain partner relationships with Account Lead through weekly calls, meetings, etc. Fulfill takeaway items from calls and meetings as appropriate.
Work on film and TV TVOD promotions, both studio/network and partner led, and ensure approved titles/toolkits are communicated to partners and creative is approved and all marketing support is captured for internal recaps.
Act is account liaison for internal department communications including compiling and distributing required account updates/weekly leadership bullets and information needed for broader departmental communications and marketing recaps.
Manage work via digital marketing tools, including the AirTable (internal trafficking system), Sharepoint, and external, client facing website - AZ (Affiliate Zone website).
Manage team budgets and contractual marketing commitments including invoice processing, creating and maintaining team budget tracker, leading communication with Finance and managing vendor setup within internal payment system.
Providing administrative support for the Multiplatform Marketing team including scheduling meetings, developing programming/campaign recaps and compiling team status reports.
Proactively seek information to gain a comprehensive understanding of our industry including our content offerings, emerging technologies, platforms, trends, and competitive landscape.
Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:
Basic Qualifications:
1+ years of marketing experience with an understanding of marketing fundamentals, creative evaluation, and budget management.
Knowledge of and interest in the evolving media landscape and media consumption habits.
Knowledge of and interest in TWDC portfolio: Brands, Networks, Film, TV, & Sports
Outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, focus, detailed oriented.
Creative thinker, innovative, and eager to learn.
Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously.
Initiative to take charge of tasks, anticipate next action and keep projects moving forward.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Notebook, Lync & Teams.
Experience with social media platforms.
Must be able to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with other office tools: Microsoft Teams, Sharepoint, Google Docs/Forms, AI and Co-pilot.
Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
Project Management training.
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience.
Preferred Education:
Marketing degree preferred.
The hiring range for this position in Bristol, CT is $65,300 to $87,500 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
