Are you someone who is passionate about Media and Streaming at The Walt Disney Company? Are you interested in growing our streaming business and helping support new and existing partnerships and go-forward strategy at Disney+?
The Partner Growth, Technical Business Development Intern supports the Partner Growth team within Disney’s Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) streaming business. We are responsible for ongoing partner management, strategic assessments, and evaluations of growth opportunities with new and existing partners. The team partners with key stakeholders in setting the growth strategy and prioritization for all partner types: Global Distribution, Regional Distribution and Wholesale, Promotional and Synergy.
We’re looking for someone interested in developing their critical thinking, competitive analysis, process creation, and modeling skills. Over the summer, you will gain a deep understanding of Disney’s streaming businesses, our position in the streaming landscape, and the partnerships that bring Disney+ to subscribers everywhere around the globe!
What You Will Do
Contribute to building operating and financial models
Identify and evaluate trends for Disney’s Direct-to-Consumer wholesale partners
Support our team with strategic assessments, including critical business questions around topics including sign up, engagement and churn trends on platform / product features and capabilities
Assist with the creation of executive-level presentations and updates
Provide regular, digestible partner performance reports for key stakeholders
Help our team maintain documentation for meeting notes and presentations
Required Qualifications & Skills
Comfortable working with quantitative and qualitative datasets on PowerPoint/Excel and Google Slides/Sheets
Curiosity – identify data trends and anomalies and turn them into deep-dive analyses to better understand trends across regions, products and partners
Collaborative teammate with strong verbal skills, written communication, and presentation skills
Ability to work cross functionally across a diverse set of teams
Willingness to learn and execute with ambiguity
Critical thinker with a strong business sense
Passion for Media and Entertainment
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
Proficient in Financial Modeling
Proficient with Data Visualization Tools (Tableau or Looker)
Education
Currently enrolled as a Graduate level student pursuing an MBA or a Graduate level degree in Media, Entertainment, Technology, Finance, Consulting, Economics or a related field.
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all the requirements below:
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess unrestricted work authorization
Additional Information
The approximate dates of this position are May/June 2026 through August/September 2026
Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
Fully available from Monday-Friday for the duration of the position, 40 hours per week
