Disney Theatrical Group is currently seeking a Revenue Manager, Sales & Ticketing with primary experience in New York Broadway revenue ad inventory  management. This professional must possess a unique combination of analytical, collaborative, and strategic skillsets while being highly self-motivated to exceed sales expectations and deliver on the Disney brand promise on behalf of our Broadway productions. 

 

In this role, the primary responsibility is to generate optimal yield and attendance levels on behalf of DTG’s Broadway productions while upholding Disney values. In addition, the Manager leads a variety of forecasting and advance pricing functions. The individual in this role must work daily with internal partners such as fellow Sales & Analytics colleagues, Marketing, Finance, Production, Operations and others while maintaining external relationships with venue owners and box office staffs, ticketing companies, and a wide variety of third party  sales partners and distributors 

 

The Revenue Manager, Sales & Ticketing reports to the Vice President, Sales Strategy & Revenue Optimization. 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Lead pricing and inventory management responsibilities for DTG’s New York Broadway productions, including: 

  • Daily analysis and implementation of yield management techniques such as dynamically pricing productions, tracking of sales pacing, monitoring and actioning tactics around distressed inventory, determining lottery and special offer allocations 

  • Weekly analysis such as revenue forecasting, sales updates to various internal teams, updating best availability calendars 

  • Periodic analysis including creating schedule and pricing proposals, reviewing accuracy of and regularly updating sales and pricing models, giving feedback on long-term planning and sales goals, and other analytics projects as directed 

  • Regularly communicate and present sales information to a variety of internal team members and partners, answer questions in real time, hear feedback and make strategic adjustments as appropriate

  • Maintain relationships with Ticketmaster, Broadway.com, Broadway Direct, EBG, Broadway Inbound, TodayTix, TixTrack and other ticketing entities  

  • Moderate travel is required throughout the year   

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Experience as the day-to-day operator of at least two Broadway shows concurrently 

  • 5+ years experience in the live event industry with proven  proficiency  in ticketing/sales operations and data-driven decision making 

  • Extensive knowledge of at least two ticketing systems including, but not limited to, Ticketmaster HOST and Nliven 

  • A high aptitude with Excel, with previous experience in building and adjusting sales models preferred 

  • Successful track record telling stories through data and presenting complex analytics to general audiences with ease 

  • Knowledge and insight into various sales partners in the Broadway community

The hiring range for this position based in New York is $94,100.00 to $121,700.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
