As a Sales Assistant for Disney Publishing, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Disney Publishing Group sales team and the Disney Publishing Worldwide North America licensing team. Your efforts will help enhance the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the sales operations. This role is integral to ensuring that Disney's publishing initiatives run smoothly and effectively, contributing to the success of the Disney Experiences segment.
This is a remote position that is recurring part-time. You will report to the Vice President, Sales and Retail Strategy.
Responsibilities/You Will:
Support digital account management team by pulling promotional lists and maintaining trackers for eBook and audiobook businesses.
Create and share digital POS trackers from various portals.
Assist with Amazon account management, focusing on collating strategies on Amazon Marketing Services (AMS), troubleshooting, and auditing detail pages.
Track promotional deal offerings.
Assist Sales Coordinator and sales team with special projects as needed.
Create forwardable updates or sell-sheets on request.
Assist with meeting and sales conference event planning, note-taking, and follow-up.
Pull catalog or retail SKU lists and build online catalog collections on request.
Work with various internal departments to meet sales needs in a timely manner.
Run sales reports from distributor's systems as requested.
Formulate sales data (Excel) for presentation purposes.
Archive sales recaps and reporting in digital folders.
Create/track title calendar and estimates versus goals.
Understand basic distribution processes to submit orders or assist in troubleshooting orders, tracking, etc.
Assist the Sales team as needed, including accessing creative materials and monitoring production details.
Provide general support for department leads.
Required Qualifications/You Have:
1-3 years in a sales support or publishing support role, ideally from the publishing industry
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Comfortable supporting multiple stakeholders.
Team player with strong collaboration skills.
Interest in publishing (print and digital).
Effective problem-solver with a detail-oriented approach.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with KeyNote.
Experience in the publishing industry.
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the publishing industry.

The hiring range for this remote position is $30,812.50 to $47,487.50 per year based on a 29 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
