The Senior Manager, Content Marketing is a hybrid thinker and collaborative leader—equal parts storyteller, brand architect, and digital tactician. This role works in collaboration with Director, Marketing and external agency partners to lead the development of creative content campaigns that elevate brand narratives, engage audiences, and drive measurable impact across platforms in support of all Disney Theatrical Group domestic productions.
Working closely with marketing, creative services, publicity, and external partners, the Senior Manager, Content Marketing ensures that every piece of content is purposeful, resonant, and aligned with business goals. This role thrives in an agile and collaborative environment, is willing to take risks, share innovative ideas, and has a deep passion for the Disney brand, Broadway and live entertainment.
Key Responsibilities include:
Content Strategy & Execution
- Develop bold, original creative strategy and concepts for content initiatives.
- Translate brand values and audience insights into compelling narratives and actionable plans that guide execution.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external agencies to support and coordinate creative execution across media formats, ensuring content is cohesive and strategically integrated.
- Serve as a strategic liaison between creative development and business objectives.
Content Marketing
- Lead the team responsible for owned social channels and influencer efforts.
- Build, maintain and enforce comprehensive policies and guidelines that ensure brand integrity and protect intellectual property across all platforms.
- In partnership with Manager, Social Media develop editorial calendars, content roadmaps and distribution plans for all channels.
- Ensure cohesive storytelling and brand alignment across all touchpoints.
Producer
- Own end-to-end production of high-profile projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and alignment with brand standards.
- Manage workflows for video shoots, including pre-production planning, scheduling, and post-production review.
- Source, negotiate, and manage external production vendors and agencies to deliver high-quality outputs.
- Serve as primary point of contact for production partners, ensuring clear communication and accountability.
- Develop and track production budgets, monitor expenses, and optimize resources for efficiency.
Leadership & Innovation
- Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality.
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies, media formats and cultural shifts to ensure industry leading output.
- Special projects as required.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years in creative strategy, brand marketing or content creation, preferably in entertainment or live events.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex creative projects.
- Strong understanding of digital media and storytelling.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to cater messaging to different audiences.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset who is successful working across the organization.
Must be available to work onsite 4 days per week (Monday-Thursday). Fridays are remote with flexibility to work onsite as needed. Additional flexibility may be required for evenings and weekends.

The hiring range for this position in New York, NY is $103,500 to $133,800 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
