Disney Corporate Creative Resources (DCCR) is a full-service creative and production organization that supports Disney’s internal corporate clients with strategic planning & communications, full-scale event production, video, graphic design, and emerging technology solutions. We deliver integrated, end-to-end projects that bring ideas to life across every touchpoint to ensure high-quality creative deliverables with cost-effective results. The DCCR Special Events team produces imaginative, turnkey experiences that inspire and connect— ranging from leadership meetings and employee engagement programs to large-scale conferences and select external-facing activations designed to reflect Disney’s creativity, innovation, and brand excellence.

The Sr. Producer, Special Events leads the creative vision, planning, and execution of high-profile corporate and employee engagement events hosted at the Robert A. Iger Building at 7 Hudson Square in New York City. From initial concept through final execution, this role oversees multiple aspects of event production including creative development, show direction, budget management, vendor procurement, logistics, and on-site delivery.

The Sr. Producer translates event objectives into immersive, meaningful experiences that celebrate Disney’s culture, strengthen employee connection, and advance corporate storytelling. Primary event types include internal employee programs, leadership and town hall meetings, milestone celebrations, networking and recognition events, community and diversity initiatives, and executive engagements. The role will also support other event activations taking place at the site, working in close partnership with the business unit clients, facilities, and other related departments.

As a senior leader within the Special Events team, the Sr. Producer will elevate the department’s creative and operational impact, bringing fresh ideas, ensuring flawless execution, and building trusted partnerships across divisions. This position plays a key role in shaping the New York campus event experience, fostering collaboration between local and Burbank-based teams, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and guest service. By blending creative storytelling with strong production and logistical expertise, the Sr. Producer will deliver events that engage employees, inspire connection, and exemplify Disney’s commitment to excellence in every detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce and oversee a diverse portfolio of corporate and special events each year—from initial concept through flawless execution. Responsibilities include event strategy and program development, creative and thematic design, production and logistics planning, script and presentation management, entertainment and content integration, venue selection and management, budget oversight, food and beverage coordination, and post-event evaluation.
  • This role also leads cross-functional event teams of varying sizes, providing clear direction, fostering collaboration, and ensuring each experience reflects Disney’s brand excellence and storytelling spirit.
  • Support the overarching goals and objectives of the department, each event, and the client.
  • Collaborate closely with the Department Director on special projects assigned, which may include contributing to creative development, supporting event elements led by other team members, and assisting with client engagement and relationship management.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on New York event venues, vendors, and production resources, maintaining deep knowledge of innovative event design, emerging technologies, and industry trends that enhance the guest experience and operational excellence.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of event planning and/or show production experience for a large corporation or Entertainment company.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong leadership skills; capable of directing cross-functional teams, managing vendors, and providing clear creative and logistical direction.
  • Proven ability to translate business objectives into engaging, strategic, and on-brand event experiences.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex event budgets, vendor contracts, and production schedules.
  • Familiarity and/or strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook; experience with Smartsheet or similar tools a plus.
  • Strong creative sensibility with a keen eye for design, storytelling, and audience engagement.
  • Collaborative team player who builds strong relationships and works effectively across departments such as Communications, HR, Facilities, and Security.
  • Calm under pressure; skilled at problem-solving and making smart, timely decisions in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience working with senior executives and name talent with professionalism, discretion, and poise.
  • Solid understanding of show production disciplines including staging, video, audio, and lighting.
  • Good knowledge of Disney brand, culture, and internal processes.
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive and engaging events that reflect Disney’s values and diverse employee community.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Event Management, Production, or related field preferred. Certificate programs related to field and/or Meeting Management degree a plus.


The hiring range for this position in New York, NY is $110,100 to $147,600 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
