Walt Disney World® Resort is seeking Custodial Cast Members to join our overnight team. In this role, you'll help maintain the magic by ensuring our parks, resorts, transportation areas, and backstage locations are clean, safe, and ready to welcome Guests each day.

This position offers diverse responsibilities including operating specialized cleaning equipment, driving company vehicles, maintaining high-traffic areas, and supporting both indoor and outdoor locations. No two shifts are the same, making this a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy staying active, working independently, and taking pride in delivering exceptional results.

Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days year. Please note that the principles of seniority are used to schedule all roles.

Full-Time role requires full availability for any shift, seven (7) days per week, including nights and holidays. Full Time Cast Members will work at least 32 hours per week.

Part-Time position requires full availability for any shift, any (3) days per week, including nights and holidays. Part-Time Cast Members will work between 0 hours to 24 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Requires driving company vehicles, such as Pargo or pick-up trucks
  • Hosing down various areas
  • Cleaning of restrooms include cleaning sinks, toilets, urinals, tiles, counters, walls, stalls, vents, pulling trash, and floors using cloths, mops, sponges, brooms, brushes, and cleaning agents. Also restocking soaps, toilet paper and paper towels in restrooms.
  • Empty trash, recycled cans and transport by pushcart for disposal.
  • Scrubbing and washing trash & recycle cans and trash compactors.
  • Using various cleaning chemicals and supplies.
  • Clean, dust and wash down windows.
  • Remove trays and clean, arrange, and stack chairs and tables in Food and Beverage locations.
  • Operate and utilize various forms of communication (phone, radio, applications, verbal, written).
  • Clean after occasional floods and backups.
  • Follow accurate Blood-borne Pathogens procedures for the cleanup of various bodily fluids utilizing personal protective equipment.
  • Comfortable with cleaning the Skyliner while traveling from station to station and cleaning while the Gondola is in motion up to 80 feet high.
  • BOH (Back of House) Custodial Support Services will be supporting the backstage areas.
  • Utilize heavy equipment that includes steam machine, T-300 walk behind scrubber; floor scrubber, Kaivac machine, Ecolab Caddy, T-2 (battery powered walk behind floor scrubber), trash baler, recycling bin tipper, soft plastic baler and more.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • A valid US driver’s license to drive company vehicles like Pick-Up trucks and Pargo
  • Physical role requiring heavy lifting, walking, pushing, pulling, bending twisting, and kneeling
  • Strong communication skills (including written and spoken English, and interpersonal skills) to positively talk with Guests, Cast Members, and leadership
  • Proven excellence in customer service

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous residential or commercial cleaning experience
  • Previous Housekeeping experience

SCHEDULE AVAILABILTY Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am. Please note that the principles of seniority are used to schedule all roles.
