We are hiring a Sr. Software Engineer to join the Workflow Engineering Team to develop applications and services that orchestrate and automate business process logic workflows for enterprise applications under the Cloud and Data Transformation Engineering Organization.

The Workflow Engineering team is dedicated to revolutionizing our product and service delivery, aiming to enhance the user experience every step of the way.

As a Sr. Software Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to drive this transformation by leveraging your expertise in automation, software library, SDK or API development which can contribute to this evolution.

Your technical skills could include a mix of:

  • Minimum of 5 years of related work experience.

  • Technical proficiency with one or more of the following: Python, NodeJS, Java, Go

  • Experience with API creation and consumption in REST or GraphQL

  • Experience with Software Design, Architectural design, and UI preferably in a Cloud environment

  • An understanding of workflow orchestration and automation

Or a mix of:

  • Experience with core Cloud Services (IAM, CloudWatch, S3)

  • Experience with Serverless stacks (Lambda, DynamoDb, etc.)

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code - Terraform, AWS CDK, Terraform CDK, CloudFormation added plus - architecture certification in cloud provider (preferably Azure)

  • Experience in CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab, GitHub)

Responsibilities include:

  • Design and development of state-based functions tied to application process logic (using any of the languages outlined above)

  • Engineer solutions to migrate current workflows to new framework

  • Assist in driving adoption of Workflow development across organization

  • Build a library of shareable workflow activities

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent experience.


The hiring range for this position in Seattle, WA $142,516.00 to $191,180.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
