About the Role & Team 

Join The Walt Disney Company as a PR & Marketing Coordinator, supporting the successful delivery of theatrical marketing and publicity campaigns across Norway. In this role, you will partner with marketing, publicity, media, exhibitor and agency stakeholders to help bring Disney’s world-class film slate to audiences through impactful campaigns, events and promotional activity.

You will play a key role in coordinating campaign assets, supporting trade marketing initiatives, managing exhibitor relationships, and helping to deliver publicity activations that drive awareness and engagement for theatrical releases across the Norwegian market.

This role will report to the Nordic Marketing Manager, Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. This role will be based in our Oslo office, with an onsite presence on 4 days a week, and one day working from home. This role is a parental leave cover, fixed-term for approx. 9 months with a target start date in September 2026.

What You Will Do 

  • Support the planning, coordination and execution of theatrical marketing and trade campaigns for Disney’s studio releases across Norway

  • Collaborate with media agencies by providing local market input and supporting the development and execution of campaign plans

  • Manage the production, approval and distribution of campaign assets across digital, social, audio, cinema and other marketing channels

  • Support influencer and social media activations, including the briefing, coordination and production of organic content and creative assets

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with cinema exhibitors, coordinating the delivery of trailers, point-of-sale materials and other in-cinema marketing assets

  • Maintain campaign materials, presentations and marketing resources, ensuring stakeholders have access to the latest information and creative assets

  • Partner with local PR agencies and support the execution of publicity initiatives, press screenings, gala premieres and special events

  • Translate, adapt and review marketing content for the Norwegian market, ensuring accuracy and brand consistency across consumer-facing communication

Required Qualifications & Skills  

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies or equivalent work experience

  • Initial experience in marketing, publicity, communications or campaign coordination, gained through e.g. internships, student jobs or similar

  • Good understanding of digital marketing, social media platforms and content distribution channels

  • Interest in the entertainment, media or film industry, ideally with exposure to the Norwegian market

  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks, projects or stakeholders simultaneously

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to build relationships and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including copywriting and content adaptation

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities

  • Proactive, collaborative and solution-oriented approach to work

  • Fluent Norwegian and English language skills, both written and spoken

Preferred Qualifications  

  • Exposure to influencer marketing campaigns

  • Exposure to event coordination, premieres, screenings, publicity activities or similar project work

  • Understanding of theatrical film marketing, distribution or exhibition
