The Technology Project Management Intern supports the coordination, planning, and tracking of Technology Infrastructure activities during the design and construction phases of Disney Cruise ship projects.
The intern works closely with project managers, cross-functional teams, and external partners to help ensure schedules, documentation, and day-to-day project activities remain organized and on track.
This role will be fully on-site in Papenburg, Germany.
Responsibilities:
Support Technology Infrastructure activities across design, construction, and deployment phases
Assist in coordinating logistics to support timely delivery of project equipment and materials
Help prepare meeting agendas, capture meeting notes, and track follow-up actions
Maintain project documentation, schedules, and status trackers
Support communication between internal teams, the Shipyard, and vendors
Assist in tracking vendor deliverables and following up on open action items
Monitor inventory, equipment shipments, and basic logistics activities
Support reporting activities, including collecting updates for dashboards and leadership reports
Assist with travel coordination, shipyard access requests, and team logistics
Help onboard team members by supporting access, tools, and documentation setup
Basic Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook, etc.,) as well as knowledge of Microsoft Project, Smartsheet
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Effective communication skills across all levels, including senior leadership
Self-motivated with a strong willingness to learn
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in Cruise line operations, shipbuilding, construction or large-scale infrastructure projects
Valid driver’s license in Germany
Required Education:
Currently enrolled as a junior or higher, or graduated within the past 12 months, from an accredited college/university, earning a degree majoring in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Project Management or similar experience
