The Walt Disney Imagineering team in Germany is looking for a Warehouse Manager to support its Asset Management Operating System, Owner’s Benefit Goods & Shipyard Contractual Supplies, OFE and Deck & Engineering Storerooms and Storage Spaces.
This is fixed-term position, estimated through December 2025, and is an on-site position located in Papenburg, Germany.
Warehousing and Logistics
Responsible for all incoming and outgoing deliveries for Marine, Technical & Engineering department
Manages stock control, making sure all movements of goods are reconciled with AMOS and LIMA WH/LOG data system
Responsible for all incoming deliveries of owner’s benefit goods and shipyard contractual supplies, making sure all are transacted in AMOS and LIMA, properly labeled with assigned onboard storage location
Responsible for Marine & Technical materials staging, coordination, supervision of loading operation to ship in collaboration with the WDI M&T Superintendents, Vessel Commissioning Team, Logistics and Shipyard
Adheres to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirement
Setup warehouse layout and ensure efficient space utilization
Manage warehouse staff, equipment and workplace upkeep
Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security
Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
AMOS - Asset Management Operating System
Actively involved in the development of the Marine & Technical AMOS database in collaboration with WDI Systems Integration Manager and IT vendor based on the documentation & drawings provided by the Yard and Suppliers
Owner’s Benefit Goods and Shipyard Contractual Supplies
Responsible for the handover process of all owner’s benefit goods and contractual supplies from the Yard/Suppliers
Transacts all receipts in AMOS ensuring every item is accounted for and labeled to shipboard location
Owner Furnished Equipment and Goods – Procurement
Responsible for the procurement of Marine and Technical equipment, spare parts, and tools as per operational requirement within the given project budget allocation - in collaboration with WDI M&T Team, Vessel Commissioning Team and Project Sourcing & Procurement services
Actively involved in OFE procurement process assisting buyers, logistics and warehouse teams to meet the delivery deadlines and project time frame
Transacts all receipts in AMOS ensuring every item is accounted for and labeled to shipboard location
Deck & Engineering Storerooms and Storage Spaces
Responsible for the design conception of storerooms onboard and storage designation of the department’s inventory i.e. spare parts, tools, consumables, chemicals, paint, lubricant, and gasses
Creates the working drawings for outfitters for shelving installation
Co-manage the storage outfitting and shelving installation with WDI M&T Superintendents
