We are looking for a People & Culture Advisor to join our ANZ People & Culture team on a 12 month maximum term contract, supporting Cast Members and leaders across core HR activities, employee lifecycle processes, Talent & Growth initiatives and people programs.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent & Growth, APAC & ANZ and P&C Business Partner, ANZ, this role is a trusted first point of contact for practical, people-focused HR advice. You will work closely with People & Culture Business Partners, the ANZ P&C Advisor, Talent Connection, Global HR Operations, Payroll and wider HR Centres of Excellence to deliver a seamless, compliant and high-quality employee experience.
What You Will Do
- Provide timely and practical HR advice to Cast Members and leaders on policies, processes, programs and practices, escalating complex matters where required.
- Support employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary processes, investigations and redundancy processes.
- Manage key employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, maximum term contracts, secondments, visa tracking, employment changes and exits.
- Coordinate leave management processes, including parental leave, working closely with GHRO and Payroll to ensure accurate administration.
- Support Talent & Growth initiatives, including learning and development planning, talent and succession activities, performance cycles, coaching programs and learning system administration.
- Help deliver annual HR processes such as End of Year performance, Merit and Talent cycles, including reporting and data collection.
- Maintain and enhance employee communication channels, including the weekly Cast Member Bulletin, Benefits Portal and DToolsHR.
- Support benefits and engagement offerings such as wellbeing initiatives, recognition programs and the Wellness Spending Account.
- Contribute to HR projects across Australia and New Zealand, taking ownership where appropriate.
What We Are Looking For
- 3–5 years’ experience in an HR Advisory role or similar HR capacity.
- Experience supporting or leading Talent & Growth, Learning & Development or employee experience initiatives.
- A tertiary qualification, or equivalent work experience, in Human Resources Management, Business Management or a related discipline.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across different levels and areas of the business.
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong administration, coordination, organisational and time management skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- A proactive, curious and collaborative approach, with the confidence to work independently when required.
- Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams and Copilot.
- Experience using an HRIS, with Workday experience highly regarded.
