Reporting to the Vice President, Global Security APAC & Middle East, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing security operations across Australia, New Zealand, and parts of the broader Oceania region.
You'll partner with leaders across Disney's businesses to ensure effective security programs are in place, including risk management, crisis response, investigations, event security, production security, workplace security, travel security, asset protection, and security technology.
A key component of the role is providing oversight and support for Disney Studios Australia (DSA), our world-class production facility in Sydney.
What You'll Do
- Lead security operations across Disney's businesses throughout Australia and New Zealand.
- Develop and implement security strategies, risk assessments, and crisis management plans.
- Manage and respond to security incidents and emergencies.
- Oversee security planning for productions, events, activations, and workplace environments.
- Monitor emerging security and geopolitical risks and provide expert guidance to business leaders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with law enforcement, government agencies, industry partners, and security vendors.
- Lead regional emergency preparedness initiatives, including crisis management, disaster response, and security awareness programs.
- Drive continuous improvement across security technology, access control, investigations, and protective services.
- Provide leadership and support to the Disney Studios Australia security team.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on security-related matters.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum 8 years' experience in a corporate, government, military, law enforcement, intelligence, or related security environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex security programs across multiple locations.
- Strong understanding of risk management, investigations, crisis management, and incident response.
- Knowledge of Australian and New Zealand Work Health & Safety (WHS) legislation.
- Relevant industry certifications are highly regarded.
