About the Role & Program

The  DTC Tier 1 Operations Team is seeking a high-performing  Strategic Operations Intern to support and enhance the execution of core operational initiatives across quality assurance, data intelligence, and cross-functional communications.

This internship is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of strategy, execution, and continuous improvement within a high-velocity, consumer-focused operations environment. The ideal candidate is not only operationally minded but also strategically curious, eager to understand the “why” behind processes and contribute to their evolution.

This internship is designed not just to provide support — but to multiply impact. By assisting with high-leverage, process-driven tasks from full-time team members, the intern enables increased focus on strategic priorities, innovation, and cross-functional alignment. In turn, the intern gains real-time exposure to how elite operations teams think, plan, and execute — preparing them for future roles in business operations, program management, or corporate strategy. 

What You Will Do

The  DTC Tier 1 Operations Team is seeking a high-performing  Strategic Operations Intern  to support and enhance the execution of core operational initiatives across quality assurance, data intelligence, and cross-functional communications.

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Data Intelligence & Operational Reporting 

  • Aggregate, structure, and analyze operational data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities. 

  • Support the development of dashboards and reporting tools to inform strategic decisions at both team and leadership levels. 

2. Cross-Functional & Tactical Execution 

  • Serve as a versatile resource for daily operational needs, from on-the-floor coordination to administrative optimization and project-based execution. 

  • Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, data science, workforce management) to align frontline tasks with broader business objectives. 

3. Strategic Communications & Documentation 

  • Draft internal communications, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and team updates that drive clarity, alignment, and transparency. 

  • Support knowledge management efforts, ensuring that documentation is centralized, accessible, and action-oriented.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in Excel, Google Sheets, or BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI). 

  • Excellent communication skills with a knack for distilling complexity into clarity. 

  • Proactive, adaptable, and intellectually curious; thrives in fast-paced environments. 

  • Demonstrated interest in operations strategy, systems thinking, or continuous improvement. 

Education

Currently enrolled as a junior or senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Data Analytics, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all the requirements below:

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship

  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.

  • Be at least 18 years of age

  • Possess unrestricted work authorization

Additional Information

  • The approximate dates of this position are May/June 2026 through August/September 2026

  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work

  • Fully available from Monday-Friday for the duration of the position, 40 hours per week
