We are looking for a collaborative team player who reflects the innovative spirit, creative talent, and passion for great storytelling and filmmaking that define Lucasfilm.
If selected you will report to and be mentored by the Senior VP of Legal Affairs and Business Counsel.
What You’ll Do
- Assist attorneys in the preparation of legal contracts and documents
- Route and track a variety of documents for internal review and approval
- Assist in review of clearance materials
- Participate in legal research projects
- Ensure orderly and up to date record keeping
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous work experience in the entertainment industry, and basic knowledge of copyright law preferred
- Exemplary written and verbal skills required
- Proven ability to take initiative and manage multiple projects effectively
- Must be a team player, but also able to work independently
- Demonstrate a high degree of discretion in regards to sensitive and/or confidential information
- Completion of contracts coursework
- Completion of an entertainment, copyright and/or intellectual property class
Required Education
Must be currently enrolled as a law student in an ABA accredited law school and have successfully completed your first year of law school
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
- Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship. Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess unrestricted work authorization
Additional Information
- Must be able to have a consistent, reliable full-time work schedule throughout the internship
- This role is considered Hybrid, which means the employee will work at least 3 days onsite and occasionally from home.
- The approximate dates of this internship are June 1st- August 28th, 2026
- Must provide own housing and reliable transportation during the internship in the San Francisco, CA area
The pay rate for this role in California is $41.40 per hour.
