The Workplace Services Specialist will aid the Manager, Workplace Services (WPS) in overseeing Lucasfilm’s LDAC and Burbank campuses in close collaboration with Disney Corporate Real Estate.
This role is considered Onsite, which means the employee will work onsite 5 days a week at our San Francisco, CA location.
What you’ll do
Aid in scheduling event spaces, processing work order tickets, coordinating vendor visits, stocking of general supplies and other departmental and site support as needed
Liaise with the coordination, planning and execution of events in support of internal Events team
Execute furniture, art and whiteboard installations; assigns work to and partners with CRE team as appropriate
Provide physical support for onsite stages, archives, installations and displays; coordinate vendors as needed
Organize general storage under the direction of the Manager
Aid in providing VIP support for internal visits and events
Provide general support for Cafe spaces and Conference Center
Under direction of Manager, WPS, act as liaison with Disney Corporate Real Estate representatives in the areas of: Janitorial, Engineering, Parking, Events, Furniture, Operations etc. as needed and assigned
Crosstrain with the Company Store employees to provide backup coverage as needed
What we’re looking for
3 + years relevant work experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively interact with diverse personalities.
Role is onsite (full time/ 5 days x week)
Physical ability to use ladders, hand tools, and power tools.
Capacity to lift and carry heavy items such as tools, materials, files, books, or boxes; can lift up to 50lbs.
Ability to move furniture and set up workstations and rooms.
Capacity to bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist while performing work.
The hiring range for this position in San Francisco is $64,300-$86,100 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
