Job Summary:

The Walt Disney Company's Disney Entertainment (DE) group includes the company’s full portfolio of entertainment media and content business globally, including streaming (Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+, Star+, and Disney+ Hotstar).

The Revenue Strategy & Growth team identifies, evaluates, and implements initiatives to drive advertising revenue for Disney’s portfolio of brands across all linear and digital formats. The team focuses on projects that will best position Disney for long-term success in today’s constantly evolving media and advertising landscape. By collaborating with key collaborators, the team's primary objective is to identify new revenue channels and improve existing ones through commercial and data partnerships, sophisticated advertising products, and strategic alignment across sales, operations, product, and finance.

Job Summary:

  • The Ad Sales Finance team is seeking a Senior Analyst to directly support a broad range of pivotal initiatives. Key projects will focus on unlocking digital advertising capabilities—such as programmatic and audience-based buying—to accelerate revenue growth. This role will be instrumental in advising the long-range roadmap for TWDC’s advertising strategy and will work cross-functionally across multiple internal teams, including finance, product, sales, operations, and business development.

  • Projects may include:

  • Evaluating the financial impact of new advertising products and capabilities

  • Crafting proforma financial models to evaluate commercial partnership deal terms

  • Support high-level projects across multiple operational groups to develop and refine key business processes and reporting aligned with our long-term strategic roadmap

  • Completing secondary market research to identify key trends and advise five-year strategic plan

  • Build executive-level presentations summarizing financials, critical initiatives, research trends and insights

Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:

  • Build ad hoc financial models and analyses to support decision making and initiatives

  • Complete market research and track industry trends

  • Closely manage projects from beginning to end: manage day-to-day communication and provide updates to leadership team, identify issues and manage data gathering

  • Develop executive-level presentations to summarize central initiatives for leadership team

Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a top tier university in business administration, finance, or related quantitative field of study.

  • 2+ years of experience with a background in management consulting, investment banking, and/or business operations.

  • Advertising, media entertainment, or technology experience preferred, not required

  • Sophisticated skills in Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in modeling

  • Strong mentality, drive to learn and understand sophisticated business concepts, ability to structure projects and handle data

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills. Ability to take sophisticated problems and clearly see opportunities and explain to team members

The hiring range for this position in California is $102,000 to $136,700 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
