DTC Revenue Planning is a highly visible team of professionals with backgrounds in consulting, investment banking, private equity, media & entertainment, and technology who serve as in-house advisers to the Disney Streaming Services’ executive leadership and own the revenue planning process. The team’s activities and accomplishments have contributed to the rapid growth and success of the Disney Streaming Services.

Job Summary:

The DTC Revenue Planning team is seeking a strong candidate who will be an exceptional addition to our team of strategic finance professionals. In this role, you will assist your team members in the revenue planning and forecasting process, the preparation of presentation materials for executive leadership, the optimization of internal processes, and work on exciting ad-hoc analyses. The right person for this role has phenomenal analytical skills and attention to detail, strong financial and business acumen, and excitement for the streaming industry.

Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:

  • Support all activities related to the preparation of DTC revenue forecasts and long-range plans, including updating model assumptions, reviewing and submitting forecast templates, and identifying variance drivers

  • Develop impactful, compelling presentation materials (decks, notes, write-ups, backup materials, etc.) that effectively communicates revenue projections, relevant drivers, risks & opportunities, and key findings that can help influence key operational decisions

  • Own full scope of ad-hoc deep dive projects from start to finish by capturing relevant inputs, refining analytical approach, and preparing complex findings with actionable recommendations

  • Maintain our internal revenue KPI database which drives the ARPU reporting process

  • Develop and nurture relationships with internal business partners to identify ways to improve process efficiency in revenue forecasting and ARPU reporting across the business

Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:

  • 2+ years of finance or strategy experience and proven track record with a top tier tech or media & entertainment firm, management consultancy or investment bank / PE firm or Big 4

  • Strong analytical capabilities and financial modeling skills (MS Excel), including the ability to build models from scratch

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including PowerPoint) and ability to simplify complex matters for an executive audience

  • Ability to work well in teams, both within the group and also with other business units

  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects at the same time, while keeping management properly informed

  • Familiarity with working in or with global, large organizations is a plus

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier school with a major in Finance, Economics or similar discipline


The hiring range for this position in CA is $102,000.00-$136,700.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
